Q: How many Police officers does the Township have?
A: 15 full-time officers, no part-time.

Q: Does the Township have a curfew?
A: Yes. There is an ordinance, called Curfew for Minors whereas a minor (under 18 years of age) is not permitted to wander or play on the streets or playgrounds from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. of the following day. This does not apply to a minor accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Q: Does the Township have a soliciting ordinance?
A: Yes, and a permit is required.

Q: Does the Township have a junk vehicle ordinance?
A: Yes

Q: Can the residents of South Park dial 911 for emergencies?
A: Yes

Q: Does the Police Department patrol South Park?
A: The Allegheny County Police patrol the Park and will, at times, call South Park Police or Bethel Park Police for assistance when needed. The Park area lies geographically between South Park Township and the Municipality of Bethel Park.
